Bangkok SA City Train Line
The Bangkok SA City Train Line provides a train service between Phyathai Station to the end terminal at Suvarnabhumi Airport – within a 30 minute journey. The trains stop at 6 different stations along the way, such as Rajprarop Station, Makkasan Station, Ramkhamhaeng Station, Hua Mark Station, Thab Chang Station, and Lad Krabang Station. The Bangkok SA City Line covers a range of 28 kilometres.
The Bangkok SA City Train Line has 5 trains, each train has 3 passenger cars with the capability of 745 passengers per train. It provides the service from 06.00am – 12.00am.
This is the main terminal of the SA City Line, which is located east of Phyathai Road – connecting Phyathai BTS Station.
This station is located on Rajprarop Road converging with Nikommakkasan Road near Pratunam. It’s close by location will become a new major trade centre in the future.
Bangkok City Air Terminal (Makkasan Station)
BCAT is the arrival point of the SA Express Line as well as a station for the SA City Line. There are numerous facilities here, such as a check-in counter service where passengers can check-in and pack their luggage to the baggage vehicle – providing convenience of moving baggage to numerous airline companies.
This station lies adjacent to Ramkhamhaeng Roadway at Klong Ton Intersection near Ramkhamhaeng University, Assumption University, Rajamangala National Arena, and a shopping centre – within 2.5km radius.
Thab Chang Station
This Station is located north of Thab Chang Train Station, near Eastern Outer Ring Road and Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway.
This is an underground station, part of which is under Suvarnabhumi Airport – travellers can access the airport from the station and hotel connection point. It has various facilities such as elevator, escalator, ramp, and so on. In addition, the station also has other services such as flight info, parking lot with capacity of 300 automobiles and 100 bikes, bus parking, taxi stand. Travellers can likewise interchange to BTS (Petchaburi Station) from here.
Hua Mark Station
This station lies north of Srinakarin Roadway, near to Pattanakarn Intersection and Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway.
Lad Krabang Station
This station lies adjacent to King Mong Kut’s Institute of Technology and is north of Lad Krabang Train Station.
